.Now i have seen this name in numerous product in the past but like most
of you i could care less about what it was. That was until now Sodium sulfate is a mineral used
widely as an industrial chemical. It's an organic compound whose main
ingredients are Sodium and Sulfur, itcan be found plentifully in nature. This
mineral can be obtained from Searles Lake, California; the Great Salt Lake in
Utah; and various sources in Nevada, Wyoming, and Washington State.
Internationally, Mexico, China, South Africa, China and several other nations. manufacturing rayon, recycling
battery acids, production of ascorbic and hydrochloric acids, cellulose and
flue gas desulfurization are only a few of the processes which create sodium
sulfate. It is often used as a
“filler” in powdered and liquid detergents and soaps, it also has
important uses in glassmaking, and the production of textiles and
fabrics, laboratory drying agent, window de-frosting ingredient,
during starch production, in carpet cleaners, and even as an additive to
cattle feed. MMMHH VERY INTERESTING !!!!!!
